Tribute is a live album by heavy metal vocalist Ozzy Osbourne, featuring his work with hard rock guitarist Randy Rhoads, in whose honor the album was released. The album was released on 19 March 1987, five years after the death of Rhoads, then it was reissued on 22 August 1995, and again remastered and reissued in 2002. The album provides a concert overview of Osbournes first two solo efforts, Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman , along with three updates of songs from his tenure in Black Sabbath. At its core, however, Tribute is a showcase for Rhoads fiery, innovative playing. His guitar work on Children of the Grave is mind-boggling, as is a solo spot during Suicide Solution though the latter was sloppily pieced in from a completely different concert. Osbourne leads his best band lineup through the entire Blizzard repertoire, plus a few Diary and Sabbath numbers. Of special note are Rhoads' unaccompanied solos, leaving no doubts about his virtuosity, and the studio outtakes of his short solo piece, Dee.
